Kinzua trout or Lakers

Any of you guys ever mess around on Kinzua right at ice out for trout or lake trout?
I've played around on East Branch some a couple times and caught a few smaller ones, last I knew the water was so low there couldn't get a boat on it. I need to call and see now.
I have always heard about lake trout on East Branch but never much talk about Kinzua and trout there. I spend more time on East Branch over the years so that may be the only reason why.

Any info would be great.

Is it legal to fish for them now?


I have a few friends who chase them in Fall and Spring. There are some pigs in there for sure.

I guess I'll be fishing for muskies then with smaller baits....lol
