portage ice conditions

Went for a ride on snowmobile yesterday to check the crack that runs from ford river to breezy than past portage to the ship channel. Its now about 150yds wide with 2 shacks on the south side of it.. there is also a big one that runs east to west thats north of portage so that will be gone next... so be very carefull out that way cause its not to good.. Im sure them shacks are now mercy of the great lakes cause with the warm weather in the forecast they won't be coming back.. the crack is like a big U it runs the shore from ford river to portage then to the ship channel...
