ice fishing

Hey , Matt or Pete, Got the ice gear ready ,when do you forsee safe enough ice condition's to kick off the season ?

Won't be long, lot of water froze over last night and today, thin ice to be sure but once we get that skim of ice over most a lake she starts going... lot depends if temps stay cold. Stay tuned, ya may get video of me going through yet...

headin to the cisco chain on friday. Anyone know how the ice is?

I got to believe that there is ice on the Cisco Chain, the question now is following all of our snow, another 3"-5" today, how safe is it. I have heard 4-6" of ice in a lot of places. There were a pile of guys fishing the Carroll Lake Bay on Sat., I heard on Stacks and SchoolHouse (behind the old holiday Station) there were a fair amount of people in those locations.
