What is considered to be the "main lake"? Been fishing there for a few years and heard the term but never knew where the main lake actually was. Anybody help?

What is considered to be the "main lake"? Been fishing there for a few years and heard the term but never knew where the main lake actually was. Anybody help?

The main basin or main lake just refers to the largest area of the lake from the dam to up by the marina. That is the deepest water on the lake, and the largest part of it as well. Lots and lots of areas to fish on that part of the lake.
