Friday, fished on the St. Louis River, I forgot how many we saw, but we got a 36 and a 40 on a cowgirl and a walk the dawg topwater, saw the other fish on Low riders, Rabid Squirrel Spinnerbaits, and cowgirls, all the fish were in shallow weeds just off of the main river channel. water temps were in the upper 60's.
Saturday evening, trolled for walleye on LCO got a 27,26, and a 22 all on cranks. shallow running stickbaits, like a minnow rap and thunderstick seem to work the best.
this morning was back on LCO for walleye and only managed to get one about 21 inches or so, on a deep thunderstick. Water temps out there are 70.
post any reports that you might have and good luck!
