Saturday, Walleye fished out on Lost land and teal, caught just about everything but a walleye in the morning, client did have a musky on a rapala but it ended up bitting the line, but not before a great fight. the mayfly's are in full hatch, so that is the excuse that I am using!! Saturday night, got stormed off the water.
sunday, walleye fished in the morning on the chip and same deal as saturday, caught everything but a walleye, did have a low to mid 40 inch fish follow a rapala to the boat, but it didn't bite. in the afternoon we went trolling on LCO and got one 23 inch walleye there. same deal, I am blaming the mayfly hatch!
Monday, Musky fished on a shallow weedy lake, had one really short fish follow a Rabid Squirrel Spinnerbait, and then we saw two low 40 inch fish just sitting below the surface, each time we casted to them, they literally swam the other way, so that sucked! it was in the 80's and no wind!
Monday night Guided out on the chip, had one short fish follow a Rabid Squirrel Spinnerbait, and then client had about a 40 incher follow a hawg wobbler all the way to the boat, but never hit. then right at dark we saw some fish porposing, but that was it. the active fish were all in really thick weeds.
Hope this helps, and post any reporst that you might have.
Good luck,
Tanner Wildes
