trolling bite

Jerry, it has been my experience for the last two seasons that the shallow crankbait trolling bite has been poor.I am wondering if you have experienced this also and do you think that the white bass growing larger may be to blame.I am talking about Castle rock primarily although the trolling on Pete has been the same.

I am not sure what you call shallow water but I refer to it as 5 feet or less. I do ok in Buckhorn Bay and above the trestle. Pete is another story. See last weeks post and todays.
