Hi all,

I have spent a lot of time on the water this week, with guide trips and mornings off when I work 1-9pm, etc! Well, let me say that my clients and my wife and I have seen 29 muskies up to 48" long since last Thursday, boated three, missed three others, and had several good chances at figure eight fish that we couldn't capitalize on. My clients Roger and Bob Williams and I saw three fish today, two over forty inches long but could not hook up on the followers. My wife Kris boated the thirty-three incher yesterday on a Baby DR mentioned in the previous post, and she lost a much bigger fish at boatside on a Baby Depthraider on Tuesday. The fish are finally much more active, and the current pattern is suspended muskies high up in the water column near deep timber. I recommend using jointed full size or Baby Depthraiders, as these seemed to show us the most fish this week. Water temperatures are at seventy four degrees and the clarity is pretty darn good. Good luck!
