Got up on Friday and it was "surf's up" out on the big water; I don't know how big the waves were but I was coming out of the water completely and dug the front in once. I was looking for crappies, found bass - they were hitting big gulp twisters and spinnerbaits. Woke up Saturday and it was snowing, did camp stuff and bear bait. Sunday tried the River - bass again, some nice ones. Had to rely on The Midway for my fish fry.... can't go wrong there. Had that new Berkley Crystal version of Fireline on, I didn't like it. Got cut off twice by little northern and had a lot of twists - have never had that problem with a superline.
