It has been an awesome spring so far. The spring walleye run was phenomenal, bowfishing is starting to heat up, and 6 acres of corn and soybeans were planted on Saturday. With a turkey tag for season "E" left to fill, I focused on hunting some known strutting areas. It seemed like every gobbler I saw had hens with him and won't leave them. That was until Sunday night. The moon and stars must have been aligned right. This gobbler was chasing three hens in my field and had to use a pinch point right where I was set-up. One shot and the tag was filled. With another turkey tag in my hand for period "F" and musky season opening on Saturday, some choices are going to have to be made. Take a kid fishing (or hunting).

See you on the water (or in the woods)
