No Wake Lakes?

Hello,

I have recently procured a canoe and was wondering if anyone can recommend some lakes around Madison for fast action. I am dying to get my girlfriend some easy catching of some smaller bass or pike.

I have heard that Red Cedar Lake is pretty good. Just got back from a skunked morning on Fish Lake by Prairie Du Sac. There was abundant structure along the shore, but no hungry fish apparently.

Any input would be much appreciated.

Try Devil's Lake State Park. No motors other than electric. Many species available, including trout. If the fish aren't biting, you can always climb the bluffs.
