Kakagi (Crow) Lake is generally in the low 40's, with the ice freshly off the lake.

The Lake Trout are coming in pretty consistent, every group has caught at least a few nice ones to start us out. So far the ones being caught have mostly been in the 4-9 pound range, which means plenty of fight when you hook them. Best success so far seems to be trolling Rapalas and Cow Bells, but the groups fishing from shore are catching fish, including a couple Lake Trout caught from our shore!

Only 1 Northern Pike caught and released - a fat 40" - a very nice fish also from our shore!

Only 1 Bass reported - 3 pounder while trolling.

This week we will have a few groups in for a full week, so expecting they will start finding some Crappie and more Pike.

Walleye opener is next weekend and a few of the Walleye groups will be in for the opener.

Our Cedartree boats are ready to go! Picked-up another new motor Saturday and ran it out today, hoping tomorrow I can post a few Cedartree portage and boat photos.

Regards,
