My tackle box is not quite as diverse as many of yours but my top five is quite simple:

1. Suick
2. Mepp's Musky Killer
3. Bucher Shallow Raider
4. Suick
5. Suick

Really not much there I know. I caught my biggest musky on the Mepp's but have caught more on the Suick. I bought my first Bulldawg this winter and also got a Double Nickel bucktail from Musky Customs that I cannot wait to get on the water.

However this spring has been all about the wife who has just graduated and is now studying for a registry exam. So, I haven't even been out for musky yet. Damn wife and kids!!!!!

John,

You left out the other 85 you need for the 50"er. Top five only covers some colors.

Hot baits and bites change year to year....and sometimes come back a few years later so it is really hard to pin-point 5 top lures. Alot of it also depends on time of year, etc...

Here is my short list broke up in different catagories:

Topwaters:
Weagle, Pacemaker, J-Walker, Klunker, Top H20, Two Timer, Top Raider

Gliders:
Beer Bellies, Turmoils, Hell Hounds, Jerkos, Squirkos,

Bucktails:
Spanky, Musky Customs, Llungen Tails,

Crankbaits:
Perch Bait, Kickin Minnow, 9 inch Grandma, Krisco, SS Shad, Big Game

I don't throw spinnerbaits and I don't throw anything small.

Hope this helps.
