Opener is almost here. I've just about drove Rachel nuts I'm sure. I've taken everything out of my tackle boxes and put them back away two or three times now. I did get a nice St Croix steelhead rod to whip rapalas with. Not what it's made for but it will work awesome. Not sure why I'm posting this. Maybe I'm still a little excited to get out on the water and catch some eyes.
Did I hear that right? You're excited to catch bait? All I've ever heard is that's all walleyes are good for.

Weather looks pretty good!
Do you have you focus more of your time on the shoreline or deep water?

"Bait" can be fun to catch after a long winter.
We'll be doing a little of both. The fish should be all spawned out by now. It might be a good crankbait bite this opener.
