Before starting this report, we'd like to thank rk_diver for his contributions to the fishing report board, especially as of late. We also would like to thank all our other contributors for keeping the boards active. We hope that others encouraged to participate and share their information and tips with their fellow fishermen.

Lake Mendota pan fish action has been spotty as of late, but should begin to pick up as the weather continues to improve. Cat fishermen have been having some success in North Shore Bay using cut bait such as suckers and blue gills. Several fish have been reported in the 15 lb. class. However, the cat fish bite in Cherokee Marsh has not materialized yet. Lake Monona pan fishermen have been having decent success with blue gills and crappies in Monona Bay, the Triangles, off of the Convention Center (aka the Wall) and in the Lagoon at Winnequah Park. Lake Waubesa anglers have been having spotty success with crappies and blue gills between the rail road trestle and Hog Island, as well as between Christie's and Goodland Park. Reports from Lake Kegnosa have been near non-existent.
