Hi
My name is Mike Bartmann. i am 17 years old and i live in McHenry IL. I have a cabin in Monroe in Adams county and i am an avid fisherman to the fox river and the petenwell. i am planning to go to the Pete with my dad this upcoming weekend and wondered what the water levels were doing. i was there Easter weekend and the water was down around four feet. also how the walleyes were doing. we wondered if the old railroad trussel was producing.

Thanks we need the help!

The water is slowly coming up. It should be near summer minimum (923 ft) by this weekend. Walleye bite was a little slow on "Pete" this weekend. If you are talking about "The Trestle" on Castle Rock, they are catching a few there.

Jigging and live bait rigging are your best bets now.
