Windy and chilly on the river today. Bite started out good till about 11:00 then started to slip a little. When we got back to the ramp I figured out why. The closed the one gate they had open at Nekoosa and turned off the turbines at the paper mill. The water dropped about a foot from when I launched at 8 am till we got back at 1 pm. Absolutly NO current in the river.
Finished the day with 20 walleye, 2 keepers, and one perch.
