Hit Alum the last couple evenings from 6-8. Got 4 Wednesday (26,26,27,33) and 2 last night (26,33) Mostly on 3/4 oz. rattletraps in the backs of coves. All small fish but still fun. Had my 8 year old son with me last night and got his first two casting fish, he had a blast!

That's great Cliff, now you know what all the bass guys have been talking about. I was in the back of a cove last night for a few minutes and had a mid'twenties chasing a rattletrap around in a circle at the boat. I kept my record intact though (no fish ever on a rattletrap) and didn't hook and land him. I had Miles out with me for a couple of hours and he landed his first for the year, a fat 33-inch. I lost my first fish trolling this year about twenty minutes later, it must be because I was at 13 straight landed trolling. I'm looking forward to the Spring Fishing Tacticts seminar next Tuesday, I have a lot of new pictures for slides!
