Going up there this weekend to try my luck at some toothy friends. Anyone got any nice spots where the pike might be holding this time im of year im from ohio and dont know what the lakes like this time of year. Was going to try out of willow bay and sugar bay area. Anywhere to rent a boat up by the lake or around Warren i think all the marinas on the lake its self are closed. Anyone having luck below the dam or on the river ? Gotta make this trip worth While.

I have not seen a river pike yet this month. We have some stained water here in the river coming in from Kinzua. The Res is stained and I have not seen any of the bays yet this year but I assume they are stained as well. I would find and cast any wood you can find along the banks for pike. There is also a nice stump field in the back of Sugar that will hold pike and musky. Just watch your graph and pick those big stumps apart.

If there is any clean water coming into the bays, fish very near those areas as that water will probably be much cleaner than the Res. water.

Hope this helps.
