Had a good Tuesday evening fishing the league although our team didn't get a fish last night it is always good to get some fishing in for myself... my partner went and broke his foot and was unable to fish but I got Pat from Iowa to sub with me, thanks Pat. Congrats to Scott for boating his first league fish and to the Twelve Pines team for the first double of the league with 34/39 inch fish. Good work guys, that pushes you into first place...

Thanks again to all of our league sponsors and the "Muskie Hunters" that made the first season of Tuesday night league possible.

Also , a special thanks to Jim Korducki from Ducktail Lures. Not only did Jim provide plenty of lures for weekly giveaways, he fished for Chanticleer Inn yesterday as a sub. Check out Ducktail Lures at www.ducktaillures.com (http://www.ducktaillures.com)

Looks like you guys had a great time! Now, all you have to do is figure a way to have a "visiting" team. It would be a team made up of folks who only get to make it to the Northwoods during their summer vacation. The team would be made up of different members every week, but their score would be combined all season long. Who knows, maybe we could knock you locals down a rung! Just food for thought, I'd really have loved to fish "competitively" against you guys...

I was gonna ask you guys the same question. How would i get in on this league seeing I live in Milwaukee and can't make it every tuesday? I'm ok with being a the "visiting team". Not sure of a team name though. Let me know what i can do and i will figure out the tuesdays I can get up there.

Well, it seems as if this little idea I hatched already has some takers. I know I'm good for two Tuesdays in June and I believe that Sid can probably do two weeks (in I believe July)... Why don't we get a "sign-up" sheet going so us vacationers can start filling it in with the dates we'll be up and see if we can get it filled up enough to make it worthwhile.

You might even fill in the rest of the weeks with non-regulars from the area that can't fish the entire summer...

That would work too... However, I'd like to see it as a last resort. I think it would be pretty cool if it could be a "team" of nothing but "out-of-towners". But I'm open to suggestion...

We'd only be good for the one Tuesday, as it stands now.. We leave on the morning of the 2nd Tuesday..
