The first outing of 2009 was pretty successful. We caught 23 walleyes from 17-24 inches on 3/8 oz jigs with extra large fathead minnows. The best color was orange but also caught fish on burnt orange, gold and blue/white. Also caught some catfish and a sheephead. It was so nice getting back on the water. Will post pictures later today.
