I promise not to wreck this one Corey. It hurt to hold it in. That didn't sound good.

For the record, there are a lot of fish that Corey burned on this spot over the years.:p

Is it looking west coming from Chief Narrows looking towards Skull Island? Skull Island is hidden in the foreground by the larger island in back.

Birch Island looking at the Rookery.

JAX, you're close.

Ty, you could say that about most spots on the flowage, although this one would probably be in the top ten for sure. To confirm the spot with you just off the picture to the right is where me and Mark heard the radio call of " we are eating rocks, I repeat we are eating rocks", while we were off the picture to the left. We still laugh about that, too funny.

Are you on Sherman's Bar looking west?

Jax,

Nope, you were closer last time.

Yep. There may have been some prop damage on that one. That's the spot I was thinking. Jax is close.

Is it Al's Bar/shear pin looking west? I actually meant to say Al's Bar/shear pin last time but for some reason I typed Sherman's Bar.

Jax,

I'm confused. Al's Bar is just south of the throughofare and Shear Pin Bar is between Big Timber Island and Ear Point. They are quite aways apart.

Tait, I am not allowed to answer that question. If you would so kindly direct your questions at Mr. Meyer. Plus, I'm trying to forget that little bog incident. We found they don't make very good campsites.

Good luck bro,

I'll guess looking north from Rudy's island

Tait, the bog you are talking about is not in the picture, but it's somewhat close to it.

Scott, the area you mention is not it either, but again it's somewhat close to it.

You guys are a few casts away from the spot.

Sunken Sister looking towards Pete's? Pete's would be to the left of the big island in the background? That's my guess and I swear I did not ask Ty for help.

I'll agree with Rachel's guess. I remember flying right by that in dark and seeing it...and realizing it's not on the Navionics chip. Whoops. It was fun watching my dad praying in the front seat.

I remember back in the late '70s hitting that when it was under water. My wife and I camped down on an island off of the South end of Big Timber, and a couple of times I struck it with my motor.

I believe this may be the World Record bar area, the spot your father-in-law and Rachel had a little trouble finding a few years back...:))

Rachel beat you to it Buck. Kind of like how she beats you in the walleye tourney every May! Ouch! I know it stings.

That hurts Ty...We'll see how smart in the mouth you are when Rachel is dining at the table and you are sitting on the end of the dock waiting for someone to throw some bread at you, like a flowage greenhead...

You have 40 days to make it up to me...otherwise I tell N how mean you are...
