According to the news-Ice breaking efforts will begin next week. Time to wrap 'er up and think Browns. May want to pull the shacks this weekend too!

Ice breaking activity will only affect the portion of the bay from the Escanaba ore docks, south. With over 2 feet of ice on the bay, we won't be playing in the boats anytime soon. Shacks don't have to be off the ice until March 31st.

from the terrace north to the upper bay will not be cut.
there's still enough ice to bury an augr almost everwhere.
perch last ice is my kids favorie. lots of action.
