Has anybody been fishing off of Saunder's point? Is the ice OK to walk off by the water plant? Early in the year it was a little shaky.

with the warm weather lately I don't recomend going any where near the saunders. Even where you walk off by the water plant this time of year can open up in one day. I used to go off there but a few years back late season I walked out there and the next day it was wide open. Just keep that in mind, take a spud, and a buddy.

a potato wont help ya (spud) . . only way I would go would be in a boat. Otherwise that area is not worth the trouble
