Ice Conditions 26 to 30 inches.

Pay attention to the channel areas near bridges, (Mohawksin)

Pike are the fish this week and some very nice ones. Plenty of pike in the 28 to 37 inch size caught this week and all these Pike came out of the bays in 4 to 5 feet of water.
Use big bait, shiners or suckers, bigger the better. These fish are starting to move into their spawning grounds.

Crappie action is good with some real nice fish, up to 14 inches. Alice, Willow Flow and Mohawksin are producing nice catches. Use Rosies or wigglers on red trebles.

Walleye, best bite is between 8pm thru 11pm, short bite at sunset. Smaller shiners seem to be working best.

Perch, slow this week but it seems to be getting better. Brown Super Glows tipped with a large plump waxie is like a piece of candy to them. Fish in 7 feet of water with weeds. Good reports from Cresent Lake.

Bluegill action is very good with average size fish. Use Moxy Jigs tipped with spikes and you will have enough for a fish fry on Fiday!

This is the last weekend for fishing gamefish on the Wis. Lakes, Remember Lake Mohawksin is open all year for Gamefish except for Muskies.

Good Luck
Dave
