The next 4 weeks will be prime time to stick your fattest walleye of the year. River levels are currently rising and pushing these big fish around. I would love to see somone break the walleye record with an Allegheny River fish! I know for an absolute fact that we have the "lengths" to do it.......just have to hit the right fish that is bulging with eggs.
As for the muskies, that fish will have to have a girth of about 30 inches and be around 54-55 inches......possible but not likely, in my opinion.
I would be out there today if I knew I could get my boat back in my garage! When I get my driveway paved this Spring, this will not be an excuse anymore.
