Two of us fished LBDN south of Gladstone on the west break from daylight to dark on Saturday. Moved once a little closer to the edge of a small break, but stayed in the 29-31 foot depth all day. Set up and fishing by 6:30 a.m. and stayed until about 6:30 p.m. Picked up one whitefish in the morning on an eye dropper jig tipped with a 2" minnow. Marked a few others, but no takers. Moved around 12:00 and set a few tip ups and relaxed in the truck for a while. Had one flag and a bite off around 1:00. Second flag around 1:30 and landed a decent pike in the 30-32" range. Nothing else until about 5:30 when we picked up one 18" walleye on a 1/4oz red glow buckshot with a 2" minnow. Then got another eye on a #7 green glow jigging rap. Then rounded out the night around 6:00 with a 28" walleye on the tip up with a medium sized sucker minnow. Long day on the water for a few fish but we had fun anyway.
