We record the temps at where I work in Iron Mountain. So far this month we have had 21 days with below zero temps. Should be some good ice.

Out here in Wilson, we've had it worse yet. The Big Cedar goes through the back of my property, so the cold settles in here a little more. I have a calibrated thermometer that I use for setting a spraying schedule for the orchard, -27 yesterday (Monday) daybreak, -24 this morning. One thing about temperatures like that, it keeps out the riff-raff.

All I can say is we're making ice, we'll need auger extentions before too long.
Good luck, Stay warm!!

Brutal yesterday, got 2 walleye's,(Finally got myself a decent meal) I hope that some of the bait shops have extensions for jiffy's in case we need them. Saw quite a few guys straight out from the Terrace almost in the middle of the bay..Are they fishing perch or Whitefish??
Ps Thanks to the folks up at Sal-mar for a decent place to setup...

birddog94,
Sounds like people are fishing for walleye actually. From what I hear there has been little to no luck at all out there (for any species). I was told there is 16 to 18 inches of ice and that you could drive almost anywhere on the bay.

Good Luck Fishing!!

I'm just curious if any of the shops are selling the Jiffy E-Z Connect Adaptor?

If so how much is it going for?

Don't know if anyone sells them, but on the Jiffy website they sell them for 35 bucks.
