Lake Mendota Walleyes continue to bite off of Dunns Bar and Gov. Island. Many fish in the 14-17" range, with some up to 25". Northerns have also been reported in these areas plus along the Univ. shoreline and on the west side of the lake from the Hatchcover down to Spring Harbor. Perch fishing has gotten a bit spotty lately, but they are still catching fish between Commodore bar, Fox Bluff and some off of the doors in 65-75' of water. Monona Bay on Lake Monona continues to be one of the better areas for Bluegill and Crappie action, with sorting needed. Perch action on Lake Monona has been spotty, with some action reported out from Law Park and BB Clarke beach, Squaw Bay has been quiet. Lake Waubesa Bluegill action has been spotty, but most reports of action have been between Christies and Goodland Park in 3-8' of water. Some Northerns have been reported in these same areas. Lake Kegonsa continues to be producing some nice Perch, but in small quantities, no Bluegill reports. Crystal Lake Bluegills in the 6 1/2-7 1/2" range are being caught out from the boat landing. Lake WI reports have been tough. Cherokee has been producing Crappies and Bluegills on and off.
