Went out and fished the mouth of the Escanaba River 20 fow, saw maybe three fish from 4-7, lost one and got one, it was a 19" whitefish. Got it on a moonshine shiver minnow, thought it was a nice walleye. Either way it will make a tasty treat.

Was South of Gladstone tonight.. about the same 4:30 -7 .. 28 FOW. Saw quite a few on the Vex .. missed one- partner landed 2 undersize... just couldnt get bit. Tried Moonshine shiver.. and three different raps..tipped and plain, all size 7. Small ones caught on plain brown trout rap.
