Here are a few photos of the past few days.

Four wheeler will not work, you must have a snowmobile.

Our opener trout has been fantastic, if your not catching fish you don't have a rod in the water. They are catching smaller fish in the larger open areas of the lake, and the larger fish are in the Bays. We are catching them anywhere from 25-40 feet, using white tubes, glow tubes, jigging wraps, etc. The key to success is if your not catching fish move, we are finding a lot of fish in one area. This fishing has been great on Rowan, Caviar, Crow Lake and a few other surronding lakes.

Ice conditions on Crow Lake is 8-13 inchs of ice, there is some slush pockets, but no one is getting stuck. There is more slush on the remote lakes, and the ice is also good on those lakes, and no one has been stuck and have been able to get around just about anywhere. Everyone has been trout fishing so I don't have a report on how the fishing is there.
