Hi y'all, I'm sure some of ya have heard of the Automatic Fisherman, but for thoes of you that haven't, I think it's pretty great! It's a tip-up/jig pole. It automaticly sets the hook when the fish takes the bait so ya don't have to get your hands all wet and frozen. I liked it so much I got a bunch of them here in the shop for sale.

I had no idea they were illegal in Mn.
I'm checking on it right now with the Wis and Mi DNR, Both have said they will get back to me later this morning or tomarrow.

Ok, here's the scoop.
I talked with the warden for our area of Land O Lakes Tim Price. He informed me that no the "Automatic Fisherman" is NOT Illegal for use in Wisconsin waters. So if your fishing here in Wisconsin, feel free to use them you won't be arrested for using somthing bad.
As far as Michigan goes, they still haven't gotten back with me to say Yea/Nay one way or another.
