Has anyone seen any skim ice out there yet??? With our colder than normal weather, I was wondering if some of the smaller/shallower lakes had any skim ice yet.

Kinzua still has a ways to go with her water temps around 40 degrees.

I was up over Thanksgiving and Tamarack was completely froze. We got into Woodcock but it was tough with the water down and no dock.

I had to bust my way in and wade into french creek today in order to get some thows in. No luck, the guys that were there when I arrived said that they got 2 musky and a pike before I got there. They said that one was around 35" or so but they were walleye guys so who knows. I have not checked the lakes but I am sure after the 3 days that it is done for..... we are in the hard water phase here in pa.
