The ice thickness on Butternut lake as of Sunday was 7"plus. Ice shacks are going up. Walleyes pike perch and crappies are all being caught. The north end of Butternut is producing a fair amount of walleyes. Northerns are being caught in 6 ft of water around the weed beds.
