I will not be on the water this weekend. I will try to sleep "in" until 7am, have a nice breakfast and get ready for an great Saturday line-up of football games. Probably sharpen a few dozen hook-points during the day as well.
Those of you who will be on the water or in the woods............ good luck and be careful.

Picked a good weekend to skip.....
I don't think fishing would of even been possible.
Saw 11 deer and only 3 were moving, the rest were laying down.
Good weekend to stay home, or go to the mall and get chirstmas shopping done so don't have to go on a warmer weekend.....ha ha....
"aren't you tired from hunting all morning, nope lets go SHOPPING"

This weekend is shaping up and appearing to be a good one for fishing. My weather report had us at 19 degrees for a high on Saturday but now that has increased to 35-43 degrees for both days.
The Conewango was pumping some good ice chunks this morning as I drove across it. There was some bank ice forming too.........low flows + colder than normal temps = ICE.
We have already had January weather starting in November!!!
