Cold Temps at night is making very good ice, most lakes have 5 to 9 inches of ice. The channel areas on the flowages are much thinner use care if fishing these areas.

Not much snow on the ice, you might need to wear creepers.

First off, the Walleye's this week are hot!! We had anglers stopping with some true trophies, up to 11lbs, WOW!! These trophies are being caught in the very early hours of the morning, well before sunrise. 4 to 5 inch suckers are the favorite bait. On Tuesday there was good bite right after sunset.

Bluegill action is good but size is still small, waxies on a gill pill working best. Lots of action Lake Alice.

Pike, everywhere, big shiners or suckers along the weed edges. Decent size with reports up to 30 inches at Red Cloud Landing.

Crappies, haven't heard much???

Perch, a few but most anglers are getting them fishing for gills.
