What are you looking to get for next season Ty?

A 22' Basscat or Z21 Comanche Ranger. I'll see if I have $60K laying around.

Seriously, I don't know yet. Maybe one of the VX models in the Rangers. I wish they didn't go away from the 195 and 618 models. Those were two great musky boats. I'll figure something out.

Ty the economy is crap, I just bought a brand new Ranger for $26,000 like yours and loaded with everything for $26,000 in IL. Good luck selling it.
Boats are not selling at all unless your giving it away.
And why don't you get to use a free boat from some dealer at no charge.

I got a honey of a deal, don't you think.

I don't see how you could get that boat for that price. Thats $8,000.00 below dealer cost. Somethings not right with that deal. It's hard to find a two year old used one for that low. Something shady there.

"I have a Sylvan 16.5 ft V-hull with a 40hp hanging on it. The aluminum boats are better than fiberglass....no rock chips to deal with. I would buy an aluminum v-hull for sure, fiberglass is for fishing poles."

Hey Bucktailscott, are you sure you bought a Ranger? This is your post from earlier this year.

Hey Ty,
I know how much you like Rangers, and I know how much I like them, but this boat is pretty sweet!

That was an amazing sight! Razor and I were fishing Kinkaid and that dude rolls up fishing off that thing. It was basically two garbage barrels and a minkota! I am guessing Ty would have a hard time guiding off that thing.

It's an economical way to catch fish. You've got to give him that much.
