Lake Wausau is frozen solid - even with a bit of wind or rain I don't think it would be enough to get a rig in; Half Moon, Lake DuBay, and the Wisconsin River itself are iced over as well - we may end up doing some ice-fishing for late season muskies this year! I have heard that some anglers have been venturing forth already and ice-fishing on Half Moon. If you're one of those who looks to push the limit each season witrh early ice fishing, please use your head and be careful!
