We battled the wind, rain and floating vegetation on Monday but still caught some nice walleye. 13year old Derek stole the show by catching the most (3) and the largest (27”). It wasn’t easy dealing with all the floating grass but they kept grinding. We got creative with our presentations and things worked well while the fish were active.
Water temps were 61.5 where we were fishing and water is still super clear. We caught fish until the sun broke through the clouds and killed the fishing for us.
