We were trying to get Kyle’s dad his first musky but instead, Kyle managed to stick the only toothy we saw yesterday and it was his first pike ever. Today, the 3 of us will likely spend most of the day hunting down the elusive musky for Clayton because that was Kyle’s intent for this weekend.
Water temps had dropped a few degrees over the past couple weeks and the water is back to very low levels for December. We saw 1 other boat all day! Needless to say, the fishing is still tough but it is nearly impossible to catch anything while sitting on the couch.:)
Today will be the last trip for my boat until at least February. I am hoping to finally have my other shoulder repaired in a couple of weeks unless Covid restrictions shut down elective surgeries at Hamot before then. Fingers crossed.
