Dave and I set sail around 8am Wednesday morning looking for some big bass and especially big walleye. We hit some “big fish” areas I hadn’t fished in several weeks. We netted 2 decent walleye and several bass during a pretty tough day on the river. Dave lost several short-striking fish during a short window around 2:30. We fished until dusk and called it a day.
We will be chasing muskies for 3 days starting Friday. Today is a self-prescribed rest day which I plan to take very seriously.🙂
