We decided to put in a 6-hour day on Wednesday afternoon. The first 2.5 hours were pretty good with 2 fish following to the boat and 2 other ‘slashers’ headshaking themselves to freedom. We did net a decent pike in the last spot we fished.

Water was higher than normal but much lower than it has been for 2 straight months. Temps above Warren are 54 and 58 below the Conewango confluence.

We will chase bass and walleye on Friday afternoon (weather permitting) and muskies on Sat and Sunday.

Stay tuned!

Bit of a weather change going on the next half a day...You coming up to the Empire State opener or staying in the Commonwealth for the weekend. You can probably guess where I'll be in the old man's whaler. Good luck!

I am just hanging in PA for the weekend but anxious to get up your way very soon. We are getting ready to find out if this crazy cold front has shut down the bass and walleye for today.

Good Luck!
