Don and his son Charlie joined me for a morning on "Pete" today. We started trying to soak dead rods on a channel edge but with a stiff east wind it was hard to keep the prop on my bow-mount in the water to hold position on a spot. We moved more towards the east side and put the trolling stuff in the water, and it was game on. We trolled for three hours and finished with at least 25 "shorties", 10 "keepers", 1 perch, and Charlie boated a nice 31 inch northern. :cool:
