[Jerry Tipping]

Slow day on "Pete" today. Almost no wind at all until about 10:30 when we were ending the trip. Just like a mirror most of the time. Stopped at 3 spots and soaked dead rods and jigged with only a few "shorties, 1 "keeper", and some sheep's head. We headed south towards the dike but the slime got so thick you could have walked on it. Trolled from Longview to the Dirty Ore with only 1 cat, and 1 white bass, another huge bug hatch on the north end. Looks like hellgrammites. :(
