Tracy booked a morning trip for herself and her sister Ellen who is visiting from New Orleans. Tracy and her husband Rich have a home near "The Rock" and have been out with me on many trips, but never been on "Pete", so Tracy wanted to give that a try. Good choice! We soaked dead rods and jigged all morning along channel edges in 16-20 feet of water with big fat-heads. We boated over twenty walleyes, that included 5 "Keepers", 2 in the slot, and a bunch of "shorties. With the winds out of the north/northwest the past couple days, it's really green on the south end and cleaner from the park north. :cool:
