Joe, Jack, and John booked a morning trip on "The Rock" for today. When I crossed by the dam in Necedah and it looked like chocolate milk and was just roaring over the gates, so I did not hold out much hope for a good bite. When we launched there was very little wind and the sun was starting to shine. We started out soaking slip bobbers around submerged timber and the bite was ok, but we could see a front coming in from the west and in no-time at all the wind picked up, and the temperature dropped about 10 degrees and the bobber bite stopped. We tried trolling but with the muddy water and trash floating it was a little slow. We did manage a bunch of "shorties", along with white bass, crappie, and blue gill. We had a big Buffalo on for a few minutes, and lost a big cat and nice northern at the net. Earlier in the week when I was here the water temperature was in the upper 60's, today the best I seen was 57. :(

Keep a tight line!!!

Jerry ;)
