TFF Update

Monday's fairly strong SW winds had not only the walleye up close to the wind blown shorelines, but all species for that matter. Using 1/16th ounce Reeves weedless jigs tipped with either large fatheads or 1/2 crawler, my two guests and I hammered the walleyes on our very first spot we tried in 3 feet of water with a combination of weeds and brush and boated not only our limit of nice eyes but a good deal of throw backs in an hour and a half. Our next move was to work secluded areas that were somewhat protected from the wind and this move paid off as we boated very good numbers of jumbo perch, crappie, bluegills, smallmouth and pike, hug it up at 1 PM as deep cycle batteries ran dry, awesome day of fishing.

Today's trip canceled due to storm threats, will post after next trip.
