TFF Update

Saturdays trip was canceled due to the weather but my 4 guests and I made it out yesterday and had a pretty decent day. Using Reeves weedless jigs tipped with large fatheads, we spent most of the morning hours working 12 to 16 foot of water over submerged wood and came up with only a couple of keeper eyes along with a couple of jumbo perch. We then moved shallow and that paid off for us. Drifting over 6 foot of water with lots of submerged wood while using drift socks and a fixed bobber with jigs set a foot off bottom produced 8 nice eyes along with 3 more big perch and a few big smallies. All in all, it was a productive day for the winds we had to put up with.

Back out today for a half day trip and hoping for a little less wind, will keep you posted.
