8/22/15 Delavan Lake, sunny, 75 degrees, Winds SW at 15 mph, water temp 75 degrees. We caught 1 northern pike, 8 largemouth and 2 smallmouth bass. Most of the fish were caught on medium suckers fished on a lindy rigged Medium Suckers. A few of the bass were caught on split shot rigged nightcrawlers in 15-20 ft of water.

8/21/15 Delavan Lake, sunny, 69 degrees, SW at 5-10 , water temp 76 degrees. caught 4 northern pike and 8 largemouth bass

8/20/15 Delavan Lake, sunny, 70 degrees, S at 5, water temp 76 degrees. We caught 2 northern pike and 9 largemouth bass. Only one largemouth was caught on a split shot rigged nightcrawler. Most were caught in 16 ft of water on Lindy rigged suckers fished around main lake weed points.

8/18/15 Lake Geneva, sunny, 79 degrees, SW winds at 10 mph, water temp 76 degrees. We caught 2 smallmouth and a few rock bass and bluegills. Worked a depth of 14-20 ft of water.

8/17/15 Delavan Lake, sunny, 80 degrees, SW winds at 5- 10 mph, water temp 78 degrees. We caught 8 largemouth bass, 2 smallmouth and a lot of panfish. Fished depths 15 - 23 ft of water. We used lindy rigged suckers that worked the best.

8/16/15 Delavan Lake, sunny & hot, 80 degrees, winds SW at 5 mph, We caught 4 largemouth bass and a few panfish in 12- 23 ft of water. The bite was off today for some reason. The best approach was nightcrawlers.

8/15/15 Delavan Lake, sunny, 85 degrees, humid, winds SW at 5 mph, water temp 80 degrees. We caught 9 largemouth and a few bluegills. Fishing was slow, all bass caught on medium and large suckers.

8/14/15 Delavan Lake, sunny, 78 degrees, winds 5 mph from the west, water temp 76 degrees. We caught2 smallmouth and10 largemouth bass and some bluegills. The best depth was 15 ft of water.

8/13/15 Delavan Lake, sunny, 75 degrees, W wind at 15 mph, water temp 76 degrees. We caught 6 northern pike and 8 largemouth bass. The pike were caught on medium suckers fished in 16-20 ft of water. The largemouth were caught on split shot rigged nightcrawlers.

8/10/15 Delavan Lake, sunny, 79 degrees, N wind at 5 mph, water temp 76 degrees. We caught 10 largemouth and 2 smallmouth bass.


8/8/15 Delavan Lake, sunny, 76 degrees, SW winds at 10 mph, water temp 77 degrees. We caught 2 northern, 3 smallmouth and 12 largemouth. The fish were caught on split shot rigged nightcrawlers or lindy rigged medium suckers. The best depth was 16-20 ft of water.

8/4/15 Delavan Lake, sunny, 81 degrees, N wind at 5 mph, water temp 78 degrees. We caught 14 largemouth and 2 northern. The bass were caught on main lake points in 15-18 ft of water. The bass and northern pike came out of 16-23 ft of water on most on large suckers or nightcrawlers.

8/2/15 Delavan Lake, sunny, 75 degrees, N winds at 10 mph, water temp 78 degrees. We caught 2 smallmouth bass, 10largemouth. We concentrated on main lake points but had to search for the fish. They weren’t easily found today. The best depth was 15-18 ft of water.

8/1/15 Delavan Lake, P.M. sunny, 75 degrees, winds W at 5 mph, water temp 79 degrees. Caught 4 largemouth bass, 1 walleye, 1 northern pike, 1 smallmouth bass and some bluegills. The fish were located off the main lake points in 12-15 ft of water. The best approach was lindy rigging medium suckers or a split shot rigged nightcrawler. The best location was the Yacht Club or by Willow Point.
