hey anyone catching any large mouth bass at all. will be up in the area last week of july.

Doubt you'll catch any largemouth at witch bay. Smallmouth on the other hand are hot.

Not really. The U.S. part of the probably has them don't know how far north they range

According to the maps produced by Fishing Hot Spots Largemouth Bass are present in Whitefish Bay and Sabaskong Bay. I believe that is south of Witch Bay. Looking at a map if you stay in Nestor Falls or Sioux Narrows you can get to that part of LOTW.

I posted a reply but not sure where it went. My group comes up end of May-first of June each year. We fish Sabaskong and stay in Nestor Falls. Mostly fish in Stony, Stevens, and Hay. We catch plenty of largemouth each year in Sabaskong. We catch our fair share of smallies, but largemouth aren't rare in the area we fish. Not sure if they stick around this time of year but I know early in the fishing season you can find them there.
